While I don’t have many opportunities to attend knife shows with my biz travels and family activities. This time the stars aligned. Here’s the deal- I have a biz meeting in Atlanta on Thursday, which puts me only an hour away. My wife and kids are going to a camp (and no I didn’t send my wife to a camp so I could go to the show) on Friday and Saturday. So, the net gain is this- I am headed to Dalton tomorrow afternoon. Friday I’ll be there when the doors open and will hang til at least mid-day on Saturday.
Usually I only have a few hours to scope out the toenails for sale and to say hello to a few folks. For this show I going to have more time than I have ever had at a show. I have my ET.com host hat on- video and regular cameras ready.
Many of the members here at ET.com haven’t been to a knife show before, therefore my goal is to capture the essence of it for them using both video and pictures. I would like to record a couple of on-camera interviews, some “News” reporting, as well as identifying the toenails for sale. Actually, my agenda makes my head spin, so wish me luck. I’ll give you a run down next week.
