Most of the old timers say, if the "new" handles are original to that knife and from that era, then it is an acceptable practice, but needs to be disclosed to the buyer. Selling a rehandled knife without disclosure, on the other hand, isn't a practice we support. I understand, Buzz and it is a dilemma no doubt- on what to do with what the scales are busted or off.
