		<description>I understand, Buzz and it is a dilemma no doubt- on what to do with what the scales are busted or off. 

Most of the old timers say, if the "new" handles are original to that knife and from that era, then it is an acceptable practice, but needs to be disclosed to the buyer.

Selling a rehandled knife without disclosure, on the other hand, isn't a practice we support.</description>

when the original scales fail ,you of course have to options.
1.do nothing

2. re-handle. changes the knife forever. if the job is done well you have a nice "new" rehabilitated knife.
